The Life of JOSEPH B RUSH

Services for Joseph B. Rush, 73, of 416 SE Thornton Ave., who died at Mercy Hospital Thursday of a heart attack, will be at 10 a.m. MOnday at St. Anthony's Church, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Charlotte, NC, Mr. Rush had lived in Des Moines for 45 years.  He was a retired employee of the Des Moines Union Railroad and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; five sons, Robert, James, Charles and Patrick of Des Moines; and Roy of Kansas City, MO; a brother, Wiley Rush of Omaha, NE; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Terril and Mrs. Helen Keener, both of Menna, AR; 18 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. at Tonini Funeral Home.
