The Life of ELINOR FAY BURCH
Elinor "Ellie" Fay Burch, 70, died November 16, 2003 at home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 19 at the Ankeny Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Elinor was born in Bancroft, Iowa and had lived in Johnston for the past 50 years. She was a homemaker and a dedicated wife of 52 years, a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Harry L. Burch; sons, Dan L. Burch of Ankeny and Bill Burch of Johnston; daughter, Barbara Lackershire of Springfield,MO; brothers, Harvey Boeckholt and Don Boeckholt, both of Des Moines; twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Dow.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at 5820 Winwood Drive in Johnston.
