The Life of ROY CARLSON MEDICI
Roy C. Medici, 66, of 1329 N.E. Fifty-fourth Ave. died of cancer Thursday at his home after a long illness.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Des Moines, Mr. Medici was a former service station owner and veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Auburn Masonic Lodge, York Rite, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, Italian Vittoria Lodge and Veteran of Foreign Wars Posts 9662.
Mr. Medici is survived by his wife, Vera; his mother, Mrs. Lillie Medici of Des Moines; a sister, Mary Beth Rummans of Urbandale; and two brothers, Vernon of Des Moines and Robert of Willmar, Minn.
