The Life of CLARENCE C WALKER

Clarence C. Walker, 84, of 3221 Fourth St. died at home Thursday of complications of emphysema.  Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at Highland Park Lutheran Church, of which he was a member, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Walker lived in the Des Moines area all his life and retired as a supervisor for Ford Motor Co.  He was a member of Auburn Masonic Lodge and Des Moines Poineer Club.

Among survivors are a stepdaughter, Bette Heyser of Dayton, OH; three sons, William of Kankakee, IL, and Richard and Clifford, both of Des Moines; two sisters, Eva McConkey and Helen Barcus, both of Des Moines; a brother, John of Lenexa, KS; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Highland Park Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
