The Life of ANDREW J HUGHBANKS
Graveside services for Andrew J Hughbanks, 80, of 1347 Henderson Ave. who died of kidney and liver ailments Thursday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Hughbanks was born in Mahaska County and lived in Oskaloosa before moving to Des Moines 41 years ago. He owned Hughbanks Auto Services from 1952 to 1962 and Gravely Des Moines Co. from 1962 to 1974.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia; two sons, Bill of Tempe, AZ, and Dick of Landenburg, PA; a sister, Florence Paul of Muscatine; and seven grandchildren.
