The Life of RETA C PETERSEN
Reta C. Petersen, 83, of Valborg Lutheran Home, 1101 Grandview Ave., died of a stroke Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery.
Mrs. Petersen, a homemaker, was born in Ellston and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a member of Grandview Lutheran Church and the Highland Park Garden Club.
Survivors include a son, Scott of Decatur, Ill.; a daughter, Karen Carmichael of Chicago; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
