The Life of DWANE DENNIS PONX SR.
Services for Dwane Dennis Ponx, 27, of 3513 Second Ave. will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Ponx died Tuesday of a broken neck after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a car at the intersection of Second and Sheridan Avenues.
Mr. Ponx was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and a siding applicator for All State Home Improvement Co.
He is survived by his wife, Glenna; two sons, Dwane Dennis, Jr. and David Joe, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Edna L. Mowrey of Des Moines; his father and stepmother, Dwane Denton and Betty Ponx of Des Moines; his stepfather, Robert L. Kloster of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Vickie Lynn Kline of Hartford; a brother, Robert D. of Des Moines; two stepbrothers, Albert and Willie Ponx, both of Des Moines; and his grandfather, Albert Ponx of Des Moines.
