The Life of DALE B DEWEY
Dale B. Dewey, 83, of 4141 E. Madison Ave. died of lung cancer Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Dewey was born in Tama and had lived in Des Moines since 1922. He was a retired mail carrier with the Postal Service, an Army veteran and a member of Auburn Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by a son, Dale R. of Des Moines; a daughter, Susan Ellis of Lakeland, FL; a brother, Jack of Urbandale; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Ministries.
