The Life of KENNETH DALE WALKER

Services for Dale Walker, 63, of 3905 Cornell St., who died of a heart attack Saturday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Born in New Hampton, MO, Mr. Walker lived in Des Moines since 1955 and was a crane operator for Pittsburgh-Des Moines Corp before retiring in 1983. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of Highland Park Christian church, Highland Park American Legion Post 9662 and Masonic Lodge in Hew Hampton. Survivors include his wife, Nadine; one daughter, Betty Deane Thurman of Des Moines; two sons, Gary and Larry, both of Des Moines; four sisters, Betty Hill, Eva McCarty and Maxine Clark, all of New Hampton, MO, and Barbara Bourne of Bethany, MO; two brothers, Worth of Camdenton, MO and Don of New Hampton, MO; and eight grandchildren. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
