The Life of ORVILLE CRESTON ABBOTT
Services for Orville C. Abbott, 65, of 4001 SW Ninth St., will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dunn''s Funeral Home on SW Ninth St. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Abbott was pronounced dead on arrival Monday at Iowa Methodist Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Unionville, MO, and had lived here 23 years.
He was a receiving clerk for a motor supply firm. Mr. Abbott was a member of the North Bend, IA, Christian Church. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Mamie; two sons, John of Hayward, CA, and Charles of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Summy of Des Moines; his mother, Mrs. Aseneth Abbott of Exline, and three grandchildren.
