The Life of MARJORIE A VERNON
Marjorie A. Vernon, 56,of Pleasant Hill died from complications of a heart attack and emphysema Monday at University Hospitals in Iowa City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Vernon was a lifelong resident of the Des Moines area and worked in property management.
Surviving are her husand, Robert; a daughter, Julie Stapleford of Pleasant Hill; a son, Roy Baker of Des Moines; two sisters, Kathleen Kern and Virginia Goin, both of Des Moines; three step-brothers, Dunane Hunziker of Altoona, Donald Hunziker of Donahue and Daryl Huziker of Settle; and three step-sisters, Donna Brownlee of Montezuma, Darlene Haberkorn of Ankeny and Dixie Glanville of Polk City; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funerl home.
