The Life of OPAL VALENTINE SHEETS

Services for Mrs. Opal Valentine Sheets, 71, of 2112 Morton Ave., will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Capitol Hill Christian Church, with burial in Highand Memory gardens.

Mrs. Sheets, born in Cincinnati, IA., was a Des Moiens resident for 43 years.  A graduate of Iowa State Teachers College at Cedar Falls, she taught shcool in Cincinnati, Bloomfield, Ottumway and DeSoto.  She was a member of Capitol Hill Christan Church, the Eastgate Order of Eastern Star and Columbian Rebekah Lodge.

Surviving are her husband, Cary C Sheets; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Aschan of Des Moines; five sons, Paul Wyckoff of Moss Beach, CA, Griffith, Marvin and Duane Wyckoff, all of Des Moines, and Donald Wyckoff of DeSoto; a sister, Mrs. Giffith Buck of Ames; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggets memorials be given to the building fund of Capitol Hill Christina Church.  The body is at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home.
