The Life of SYLVIA DELPHA SHEETS
Sylvia D. Sheets, 74, of New Oaks Care Center, 3806 Easton Blvd., died of a lung ailment Tuesday at the Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, and burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Centerville, Mrs. Sheets lived in Des Moines since 1970 and was a homemaker. She was a member of Capitol Hill Christian Church, Columbian Rebekah Lodge 181 and Eastgate Chapter 538 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include four stepsons, Griffith of Warrensburg, MO, Marvin of Colfax, Donald of DeSoto, and Duane of Carlisle; one stepdaughter, Margaret Aschan of Des Moines; and one sister, Doris Morris of Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home.
