The Life of CHARLES EUGENE HICKSON
Charles E. Hickson, 76, of Baxter died of an aneurysm Tuesday at Colonial Manor there. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Hickson, born in Ruleton, Kan., had lived in Des Moines since 1945 and in Baxter three months. He was a retired body man for Hazelbaker Chevrolet, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by three daughters, Cathy Scheffler of Newton and Charla Baker and Neva Michael, both of Des Moines; a sister, Maxine Wilkinson of Goodland, Kan.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
