The Life of DELBERT BILLIE DRAPER

Services for Delbert B. Draper, 61, of Grimes, who died Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center of a heart ailment, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Westover Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Draper was  born in Des Moines and lived here until moving to Grimes in 1950.  He was a retired agent for the state Department of Revenue and a member of Grimes First Presbyterian Church and CT Granger Lodge 620.  He was an assistant scoutmaster of Grimes Boy Scout Troop 171 and was a US Marine Corps veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta J.; a son, Steven R. in Korea; three brothers, Richard of Fort Worth, TX, David of Grimes, and Edward or Des Moines, and a sister, Arnoldean Wuthrich of Osceola.

The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to Grimes Boy Scout Troop 171.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home.
