The Life of BOB DEAN FORKNER
Bob D. Forkner, 69, of Orlando, FLA., died of cancer there Saturday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church in Des Moines, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Forkner was born in Davis City and lived in Des Moines until 1982. He was a retired production manager with Freeman Decorating Co. and a member of First Bpatist Church of Central Florida.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou; four daughters, Sondra McKeever and Peggy Helm, both of Des Moines, Jonda Sederwall of Johnston and Pamela Crawford of West Des Moines; two sons, Bob Jr. of Des Moines and Richard of Orlando, FLA.; two sisters, Shirley Lucas and Pat Otto, both of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call fro 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
