The Life of JEFFERY ALLAN COWLING
Jeffery Allan Cowling, 15-year-old son of Craig Cowling and Jacquie Halterman of Des Moines, of the 500 block of Walker Street died Monday at Mercy Hospice in Johnston of injuries related to a swimming accident. Autopsy results are pending. Memorial services will be at 10 am today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Jeffery had lived in Des Moines all his life. He was a student at Roosevelt High School and attended First Assembly of God Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepmother, Cheryl Cowling, two sisters, Amber Cowling and Autumn Hebron, and four brothers, George Sholley Jr., Craig Cowling, Jr., Jesse Cowling and Andrew Levy, all of Des moines; his grandparents, Bert Cowling of Illinois and Georgia Griffith of Des Moines; and his great-grandmother, Luella DeWitt of Manchester.
