The Life of FREIDA FERN WILLIAMS
Freida Fern Williams, 78, of 4325 NE 29th St., died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Meredith Drive Reformed Church, and cremation will follow.
Mrs. Williams was born in King City, MO, and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She retired from Dahl''s Food Store and was a member of First Federated and Point of Grace churches.
Surviving are a son, Bruce of Des Moines; two daugthers, Diane Stone of Ankeny and Patricia Tillotson of Pleasant Hill; two brothers, Fred Wall of Des Moines and William Wall of Santa Maria, CA; a sister, Frances Goodwin of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Urban Ministries.
