The Life of KAY M TAGGART
Services for Mrs Kay M Taggart, 36, of 2923 Garden Ridge will be at 11:00 a.m. Thrusday at Westover Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Taggart died Monday at Mercy Hospital of injuries suffered in an auto accident Thursday, according to authorities.
A lifelong resident of Des Moines, she was a board member of the Northwest District of Camp Fire Girls and a member of the Woodlawn Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association and Park Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband, Glendell L; a daughter, Jane, and a son, James, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Mildred C Adams of Berwick; two sisters, Mrs. Karen Bryant of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Lois Sirfus of Des Moines; a brother, Glenn A Jewell of Houston, TX; and her grandmother, Mrs. Blanche Miller of Des Moines.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Park Avenue Presbyterian Church.
