The Life of FRED MARTIN POFFENBERGER
Services for Fred M. Poffenberger, 94, of Norwalk, who died of a heart ailment Friday at the Regency Care Center there, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Southtown Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
Mr. Poffenberger, a native of Dallas County, lived in Des Moines for 48 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of Norwalk Christian Church.
Survivors include four sons, Clyde and Glenn of Des Moines, Harry of Seminole, FL, and Verle of Minnetonka, MN; three daughtres, Darline Howlett, Velma Kauffman and JoAnn Hoover, all of Des Moines; two brotehrs, Roy of Minnesota and Lee of Florida; three sisters, Ruth Glenn of Cedar Falls and May Dillon and Ada Myers, both of Adel; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchldren.
