The Life of KENNETH W STOCKMAN

Kenneth Stockman, 60, of Lacona died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.  Services will be at noon Saturday at Southtown Funeral Home in Des Moines, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Stockman was born in Washington and had lived in Warren County since 1985.  He worked for Stone Container before retiring and was a Navy veteran.  He loved attending blue-grass music festivals.

Surviving are his wife, Estella; four daughters, Rebecca Siembieda of West Des Moines, Michelle Sandvig of Des Moines, Karen Weatherman of Cambridge and Carol Stockman of Lacona; two sons, Kenyon of Des Moines and Robert Lee of Lacona; six sisters, Lorena Runyon of Rock Island, IL, Ruth Fuller, Juanita Fox and Roberta Little, all of Des Moines; Arlene Vargus of Muscatine and Sandra DeShong of Boone; two brothers, William of Kansas City, MO, and Jerry of Dalhart, TX; 10 grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
