The Life of GEORGE T DARR
George Darr, 42, of the 4400 block of Souteast Sixth Street died of complications of cancer Wednesday at home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Darr was born in Des Moines and had lived here many yeras before moving to Boscobel, WI, for several years. He returned here five yeras ago. He was a technical coordinator with Color Converting Inc. in Des Moines and a member of Indianola Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa; two sons, Gary Darr and Christopher Moore, and a daughter, Madison Darr, all of Des Moines; his mother, Margaret Darr of Altoona; two sisters, Jonie Cunningham and Shelly Agan, both of Des Moines; and a brother, Brian of Osceola.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
