The Life of JOHN W KNORR

Services for John W. Knorr, 85, of 1131 Thirty-eighth St. will be at 1 p.m. at Westover Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Knorr died of a heart ailment Saturday at Northwest Community Hospital after an illness of a week.

He was a retired auto dealer and had lived in Des Moines since 1911.  He was born in Fonanelle.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha; two sons, Carl J. of New York City and John G. of Clive; a brother, Charles of Eugene, OR; a sister, Mrs. Marie Zeckman of Sterling, CO, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
