The Life of HAROLD HARRISON SONGER

Harold H Songer, 63, of 1608 Thirty-second St., a Des Moines printer, died Tuesday night at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital. He had been ill of a heart and circulatory ailment for a year. Mr. Songer had been a printer at The Des Moines Register and Tribune from 1938 until his illness and previously was with the Mussetter M&L Co. for 10 years. He was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. Services are being arranged at the Dunn Funeral Home. Surviving are his widow, Catherine; a daughter, Mrs. A.J. Daniels of Des Moines; two sons, John of Des Moines and Don, a lieutenant colonel in the Air Force at Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Harriett Hansen of Ames, and Mrs. Maude Nelson and Mrs. Mary Higdon, both of Des Moines, and six grandchildren.
