The Life of MARY CHARLENE BRAFFORD
Mary Charlene Brafford, 76, of 131 E Seneca Ave. died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mel''s Catholic Church, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Brafford, a lifelong Des Moines resident, was a homemaker and member of All Saints Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are her husband, Clifford; three sons, Joe of Collins, T. Michael of Des Moines and John of Johnston; a brother, William Mulstay of Marshalltown; two sisters, Patsy Gusafson of Portland, OR, and margaret Anderson of Des Moines; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until an 8 p.m. Scripture service. Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints School.
