The Life of WILLIAM VIRGIL BROOKS
William Virgil Brooks, 70, of 1201 Office Park Road died of cancer Saturday at Hospice Kavanagh House. The body will be cremated and memorial services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial of the cremains will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Brooks, a lifelong Des Moines resident, had been a custodian for the state of Iowa.
He is survived by two sons, Ron of West Des Moines and Steven of Largo, Fla.; a daughter, Tina Grishkevich of Largo; two brothers, Richard and G.T., both of Des Moines; four sisters, Betty Lloyd, Helen Baker and Shirley Hanlin, all of Des Moines, and Laura Murillo of West Des Moines; and five grandchildren.
