The Life of RAYMOND W FARRELL
Raymond "Dub" Farrell, 87, of the 2300 block of East 28th Street died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grandview Park Baptist Church of which he was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Farrell had lived in Des Moines all his life. He was a retired pressman with Edwards Graphics and enjoyed fishing and serving his church.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine; two daughters, Nancy Nelson and Joanne Strait, both of Runnells; a brother, Russell Farrell of Prairie City; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Grandview Park Baptist Church Building Fund.
