The Life of FANNIE ALICE BOATWRIGHT

Fannie R Boatwright, 96, of New Oaks Care Center, 3806 Easton Blvd, died of a heart attack Sunday at home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, and burial will be in Highalnd Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Boatwright, a homemaker and member of Sheridan Park United Methodist Church, was born in Missouri and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She is survived by a daughter, Ethel Piper of Des Moines; two sons, Kenneth Boatwright of Urbandale and Maynard Boatwright of Des Moines; three brothers, Ernest Speck and Ralph Speck, both of Des Moines, and Harlan Speck of St. Marys, a sister, Charlotte Gillman of Slater; 17 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
