The Life of RICHARD L COLLINS
Richard L. Collins, 50, of the 3000 block of East 32nd Street died of a heart attack Wednesday at home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Collins had lived in Des Moines all his life. He was a warehouseman with Anderson Erickson Dairy and a member of Capitol Hill Christian Church and Teamsters Union Local 387. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed golfing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Diana; a daughter, Stephanie Collins of Des Moines; a son, Brian of Kansas City, MO; and his father, Harold Collins, and his stepmother, AltaDell Collins, both of Des Moines.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
