The Life of JERALD E JACOBSON
Jerry E. Jacobson of Indianola died Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines of a heart ailment resulting from cancer. He was 56. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Highland Park Christian Church in Des Moines, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Jacobson was born in Hamilton County and moved to Des Moines in 1954 and to Indianola 12 years ago. He had been a construction superintendent for Hansen Construction Co. and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Carpenters Union and several Des Moines dog clubs.
Surviving are his wife, Shirlee; a daughter, Lori Jacobson of Indianola; two sons, Doug and Jeffrey, both of Ames; two sisters; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Des Moines. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
