The Life of FREDRICK F KASNER
Services for Fred F Kasner, 61, of 2336 Amherst St., who died of cancer Sunday at home after a six-month illness, will be at noon Wednesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Kasner, a lifelong Des moines resident, was vice-president of Leachman Lumber Co. An East High graduate, he was a member of the East Des Moines Club and Union Park United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Wilma V.; two sons, Fritz of Des Moines and Donald of Mankato, MN; his mother, Mrs. Prudence Kasner of Des Moines; five sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Jones, Mrs. Gladys Lawson, Mrs. Vicky Scott and Mrs. Louise Fortune, all of Des Moines, and Mrs. Bonnie Haviland of Compton, CA; two brothers, Russell of Des Moines and John of Corona, CA, and four grandchildren.
