The Life of JACK LLOYD GODWIN

Services for Jack Lloyd Godwin, 36, of 4290 NE Twenty-seventh St., will be at 10:340 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Godwin died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Saturday at his home, according to Dr. Emmanual Lacsina, Assistant Polk County Medical Examiner.

A lifelong resident here, Mr. Godwin was a machinist for the Dave Matteson Co., and a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge 254.

Surviving are two daughters, Karla Belle Fultz and Anne Elizabeth Godwin, both of Des Moines; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Donald Godwin of Des Moines; four brothers, Donald Godwin, Jr., James Godwin, Dennis Godwin and John Godwin, all of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Loretta McCabe of Ankeny, and his grandmother, Mrs. Anna Vansice of Baxter.
