The Life of VERONICE FERN TOSTLEBE
Veronice Fern Tostlebe,74, of Norwalk, died of cancer Thursday at her daughter''s home at 930 SW Virginia Ave in Des Moines. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Tostlebe was born in Ashland, KY, and had lived in Norwalk seven years. She was a retired secretary and a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
Surviving are three daughters, Melanie Griffith of Des Moines, Karla Hobbs of Nevada and Laurel Stivers of Cincinnati, OH; a son, Jeffrey of Ankeny; three sisters, Mary Heading and Joyce LeBrun, both of Ashland, and Jean Carter of Middleton, OH; two brothers, Ray Ball and Ronald Ball, both of Ashland; and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. to service Mondat at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dentral Iowa of the American Cancer Society.
