The Life of SHANE EDWARD GIBBENS
Shane Edward Gibbens, 3-year-old son of Holly Gibbens of the 1600 block of Army Post Road, died of injuries suffered in a fire Sunday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Firday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Shane was born in Des Moines.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Aimee Cook of Des Moines; his grandparents, Laura Kemmerer of Des Moines and Steve Johnson Sr. of Florida; and his great-grandparents, Edward McFadden of Des Moines and Mary Kelley and Carol Johnson, both of Florida.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
