The Life of KENNETH P ROLLINS
Kenneth P. Rollins, 86, died September 3, 2006 at Taylor House Hospice. He was born in Manly and had lived in the Des Moiens area most of his life. He worked as a bookbinder for Wallace Homestead until he retired in 1982. He had served as an Armed Guard in the US Navy during WWII and was a member of the VFW Post in Beaverdale. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be missed by his wife of 64 years, Bernice; sons, Kenneth C. of Charlotte, NC and Ted (Leslie) of Ankeny; grandsons, Tyler and Shea (Jenny) and three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Taylor House Hospice.
