The Life of CHRIS DAVIS SR.
Chris Davis, 53, of the 400 block of Northwest 54th Avenue died of cancer Thursday at home. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Davis had lived in Des Moines all his life. He owned Elite Carpet Cleaning and was a veteran of the Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; three sons, Chris Jr., Mark and Michael, all of Des Moines; two sisters, Suzette Berry of Ankeny, and Rebecca VanHorn of Huxley; two brothers, Kenneth and Norman Jr., both of Des Moines; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospital Hospice or Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
