The Life of RONALD G SWAIM
Services for Hospital Corpsman Ronald Gail Swaim, 20, of 785 NE Fifty-first Ave., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton Lilly Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was killed while on duty at Quang-Nam, Vietnam, on May 20. He had served with the Navy two years, the past five weeks in Vietnam. He was a graduate of Saydel High School and attended Grandview College.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Dale Swaim, a sister, Kathleen, at home, a brother, Allan of Des Moines, and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Leslie Swaim of Paton.
