The Life of VONDA MCCLELLAND BAILEY
Vonda McClelland Bailey, 35, of the 200 block of 15th Street died of a liver ailment Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Ms. Bailey was born at Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota, and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Teal Bailey of Des Moines; two daughters, Ashley Schultz of Oxford and Alyssa Bailey of Des Moines; her father, Fred McClelland of Des Moines; and three brothers, Daniel of Des Moines, Donald of Grimes and Michael of Lenexa, KS.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Reformed Church Preschool.
