The Life of BETTY LOU DYER

Betty Lou Dyer, 63, of 703 SE Pleasantview Drive died of a heart ailment Saturday at Broadlawns Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Dyer was born in Marquisville and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Indianola Heights Evangelical Free Church. Surviving are her husband, Dick; three daughters, Anita Samuelson, Karen Mendenhall and Rhonda Davis, all of Des Moines; her mother, Bernice Smith of Pleasant Hill; four brothers, Jack Smith, Glenn Smith, and Jerry Smith, all of Des Moines, and Raymond Smith of Media, PA; two sisters, Joy Bellis of Des Moines and Beverly Wade of San Jose, CA; and four grandchildren. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
