The Life of KELLY D GILLASPY
Kelly D. Gillaspy, 30, of 4022 Thirty-third St. died of a gunshot wound Wednesday at his home. Polk County Medical Examiner Dr. R. C. Wooters ruled the death a suicide.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Gillaspy was a lifelong Des Moines resident and a graduate of Iowa State University. He was a vice-president of Johnson''s Clothing Stores here and a member of Union Park United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Judy; a son, Eric, at home; two sisters, Gail Seymour and Mrs. Kila Christensen, both of Des Moines; three step-brothers, Mike Webb, Dan Webb and Larry Webb, all of Des Moines; a step-sister, Marcela Webb of Des Moines; his parents Joe Gillaspy and Lois and Joe Webb of Des Moines; and his grandparents, Frank Gillaspy and Mrs. Charlotte Pearson of Des Moines.
