The Life of EUGENE WILLIAM SCHREIER
Eugene William Schreier, 67, died early Sunday morning at Mercy Medical Center of Heart Failure. Vigil services will be held Tuesday, June 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Immaculate Heart Church in Ankeny, IA. Burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Eugene was born May 14, 1936 in Manson. He granduated from Manson High School in 1954. He was married to Donna K. Schleisman at St. Mary''s Catholic Church in Pomeroy in 1956. He was a retired USDA Federal Meat Inspector.
He is survived by his wife, Donna of 47 years; two daughters, Cindy Schreier and Heather Schreier both of Des Moines; two sons, Scott Schreier of Cambridge and Bruce Schreier of Des Moines; seven grandchildren; brother, Earl Schreier of Harcourt; sister, Myrna Jean Pudenz of Carroll.
Memorial contributions will be left to the discretion of the family.
