The Life of VENETA ESTHER HODGES
Services for Mrs. John Hodges, 63, of 1822 Logan Ave., will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Hodges died Monday at College Hospital after a five-year illness. Born at Boone, she lived in Des Moines 60 years. She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Jorgensen of Davenport and Mrs. Theresa Lawman of Kelley; three sons, William C. of Des Moines, Dr. John E. Hodges of Laurens and Donald W. of Ankeny; a sister, Frances Rittle, and two brothers, Oscar and Gus Rittle, all of Des Moines, and 12 grandchildren.
