The Life of HAROLD GLEN ROUTSON
Harold "Hop" Routson, 74, of Urbandale Rehabilitation and Care Center, 4614 NW 84th St., died of a heart ailment there Thursday. The body was cremated, and private burial of the cremains was Saturday.
Mr. Routson was born in Pleasantville and had lived in Urbandale most of his life. He was a retired security guard at Veterans Medical Center, an Army veteran of World War II and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two daughter, Elaine Abrolat of Ankeny and Kathy Routson of Des Moines; a son, Dan of Johnston; two brothers, Merl of Urbandale and Jack of Des Moines; and five grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospital Medical Center dialysis unit. Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home handled arrangements.
