The Life of THEDA BARA DAUGHERTY

Theda Bara Daugherty, 72, of the 3800 block of East Jefferson Ave. died of a heart ailment Tuesday at home.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Daughterty was born in Lawrence, KS and had lived in Des Moines most of her life.  She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Braack of Des Moines, and Pamela Raitt of West Des Moines; three sons, Tom, Albert and George, four brothers, Edgar Branchcomb, Sam Branchcomb, Lloyd Branchcomb and Albert Branchcomb, and two sister, Sally Adams and Mary Beerbower, all of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
