The Life of MILDRED L WIAND
Mildred L. Wiand, 74, of 1918 E 42nd St., died of a heart ailment Monday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at noon Friday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Wiand, a homemaker, was born in Creighton, NB, and lived in Des Moines most of her life.
Survivors include her husband, Otis; a son, Bruce, and a daughter, Sharon Miller, both of Des Moines; two brothers, Leo Hasenpflug of Grand Island, NB, and Gary Hasenpflug of Creighton, NB; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
