The Life of RICO BRUGIONI

Rico Brugioni, 69, of the 600 block of Northeast 70th St in Ankeny died of a heart ailment Saturday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ankeny First Church of Christ, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Brugioni was born in Carney and had lived in Des Moines all his life. He was a retired elevator technician for Montgomery Elevators and a member of Model Airs Club of Des Moines. He enjoyed golfing and woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Donna; four daughters, Lisa Carben of New Egypt, NJ, Barbara Schwitters of Des Moines, Suzanne Stidham of Oneonta, AL and Andrea Tobin of Knoxville; three sisters, Angelina Alexander of Des Moines, Mary Jean Harp of Oklahoma and Laura Rose Benjamin of Ankeny; four brothers, Joe, Petro and Robert, all of Des Moines, and Richard of Michigan; nine grandhcildren; and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm. Wednesday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
