The Life of ELDON LEE TIBBETTS
Graveside services for Eldon T. Tibbetts, 62, of 6103 S.W. Thirteenth Place will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Tibbetts died of lateral sclerosis Monday at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital after a year-long illness.
A retired welder, Mr. Tibbetts was born in Elmo, Mo., and lived in Des Moines 25 years before moving to Cudahy, Calif., where he lived for 12 years. He moved back to Des Moines nine months ago.
Surviving are his wife, Mary A.; a son, Harold Lee of Center Point; two brothers, Harold Otis of Valinda, Calif., and Emory of Osage, and three grandchildren.
The body is at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.
