The Life of GERTRUD F SPARGO
Gertrud F. Spargo, 74, of the 3400 block of Amnherst Street died of a heart ailment Sunday at Integrated Health Services of Iowa. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Spargo was born in East Prussia and lived in California 15 years before coming to Des Moines in 1973. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Leon; two sons, Heinz Spors and Leon Spargo,Jr., both of Des Moines; a daugther, Bridgette Spors; a brother, Heinz Spors; and a sister, Ava Spors, all of Essen, Germany; and 10 greandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
