The Life of NORRIS P HUMPHREYS
Norris "Lefty" Humphreys, 76, of 4029 10th St. died of a heart ailment Friday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. The body will be cremated and memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home with private burial of the cremains at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Humphreys was born in Topeka, KS, and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was a retired machinery maintenance worker for the city of Des Moines.
Survivors include his wife, Millie; three sons, Michael, Steve and Bob, all of Des Moines; a sister, Edna Lewis of Topeka, KS; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
