The Life of LEOLA BABBITT
Leola Babbitt, 81, of 3921 Fifth St. died of a stroke Monday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gospel Assembly Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Pipe Creek, TX, she lived in Houston and San Antonio before coming to Des Moines in 1972. She was a retired office worker for American General Insurance.
She is survived by three sisters, Lucille Seale of Urbandale, Norma Snyder of Granger and Lorene Nollkamper of San Antonio; and three borthers, Albert Babbitt of Buileson, TX, Jake Babbitt of Pipe Creek and Frank Babbitt of San Antonio.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today and all day Wednesday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
